About Us
JRH Contracting is a small business based in Ingatestone, Essex. The business was founded in 2009 by James Hayward.
James is a 4th generation farmer who was brought up on the family farm. After studying at Writtle collage, James went on to work on various farms to gain valuable experience to bring to the contracting business.
Since 2020 the business has evolved to include vegetation management , offering services to highways and utilities sectors as well as agricultural and commercial sectors.
Our staff are all NPTC or LANTRA certified and have CSCS cards as well as National Highways passports and forestry first aid trained.
We are a rapidly growing business, which strives to give the best service possible to the customer, we aim to work with the customer to achieve customer satisfaction, and treat each job as if it was for our own farm.
We run a fleet of modern tractors and well maintained machines, our reputation is important to us, and we believe well maintained machines are the key to reliability. As the business grows and develops so does the machinery and services we offer.
We cover Essex and most of East anglia and have been known to travel further afield. As the business grows we are expanding our machinery and services, however if you require something we currently don't offer , we work with a number of other contractors across Essex and would be happy to offer assistance in connecting you.
